ROOF PHOTOVOLTAICS

Rooftop solar is a solar energy system that is installed on top of homes or businesses. It consists of photovoltaic panels that convert solar radiation into electricity. This energy can be used for home/business needs or sold to the grid. Rooftop photovoltaics are a sustainable and economical solution for producing clean energy and reducing dependence on conventional fuels.

The net metering feature of this rooftop PV system allows any excess electricity produced by the PV system to be fed back into the power grid. This excess electricity is then credited to the building's electricity bill, which can be used to offset the cost of electricity purchased from the grid during times when the PV system is not producing enough electricity. The installation of a photovoltaic system under the net metering regime ensures a great financial benefit for 25 years.

The photovoltaic system can be installed on: roof, roof, pergola, parking or even on the ground of the same or neighboring plot

The building categories in which it can be installed are:

  • Residential building
  • Commercial buildings
  • Technical - Industrial buildings
  • Hotels
  • Primary sector buildings

More than one PV system can be installed in each building. The installation of the PV system can be done by the owner or the tenant of the space.
